## How it works

1. **We read your quote.** Price, amount financed, rate, term, balloon, repayments and every fee we can find, including the fine print.
2. **We work out its real rate.** From what you actually pay, with every fee in, so a low headline rate can’t hide the cost.
3. **We line ours up beside it.** Same kind of finance, same car, same amount, same term, same balloon. Where we can’t match a term, we say so.
4. **You decide.** Keep your quote, or send the comparison to a specialist. Nothing is signed until you choose.

## Questions

### What quotes can I compare?

Novated lease quotes from any provider, car loan quotes from a lender, dealer or broker, and business car loan quotes (chattel mortgage or hire purchase). We can’t compare a finance lease or a rental like for like.

### What happens to my file?

It is read once to take out the figures and is never stored. We keep the figures and the comparison, without your name or contact details, so the comparison can be sent to a specialist if you ask.

### Why might the rate you show differ from the rate on my quote?

The rate on a quote often leaves out fees. We work out the rate from what you actually pay, with every fee in, so quotes can be compared on the same basis.

### Are your figures a quote?

No. They are indicative, from our standard rates and fees for this kind of finance. Your actual rate depends on a credit assessment and the lender’s criteria, and a specialist confirms it with you.

### Does comparing affect my credit score?

No. Comparing runs no credit check. A credit check only happens if you apply, and only with your consent.
