## Indicative figures

The figures you see are indicative. They are worked out from your answers, the indicative rates and fees for each kind of finance, running-cost budgets, tax rules for the date your car is delivered, and other assumptions. The main assumptions are shown with every result.

Your actual figures depend on the lender's or funder's assessment, the rates and fees at the time, your employer's salary packaging arrangements, the vehicle and its final price, and your circumstances. They are confirmed in writing before you agree to anything.

## General information, not advice

Results are general information. They do not take every part of your circumstances into account and are not an offer of credit, a credit assessment, a quote, or financial product, tax or legal advice. Credit is subject to the lender's criteria, and fees and charges apply.

Tax figures for novated leases and business loans are estimates. Talk to your accountant or a registered tax agent about your own situation.

## Electric cars and FBT

The fringe benefits tax exemption for eligible electric cars has conditions. Changes announced in the May 2026 Budget, not yet law when this was written, narrow it from 1 April 2027 and replace it with a partial discount for new arrangements from 1 April 2029. The engine applies the rules we understand will apply to your dates, but legislation and its interpretation can change.

## How results are put in order

Options are ordered by how well they meet the goals and must-haves you tell us, using the figures for each option. What we earn is not an input to that comparison: the engine that orders your options cannot see it.
