This Credit Guide is given under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth). It explains who we are, how we work and how we are paid. Please read it before you use our credit assistance services.

What we do
The Navo Decision Engine compares ways to pay for a car (a novated lease, a car loan and a business loan) against your circumstances and goals. If you decide to go ahead, we can help you apply to a lender or funder on our panel. We are not a lender.
A novated lease is an arrangement between you, your employer and a funder. It is generally not regulated by the National Credit Code, and finance for business purposes is not consumer credit. We tell you which applies to the option you choose.
Lenders and funders we use
We work with a deliberately small panel. The lenders and funders we most often use are Westpac Banking Corporation and Pepper Asset Finance Pty Ltd.
Making sure credit is not unsuitable
Before we suggest a credit contract or help you apply for one, the law requires us to make a preliminary assessment of whether it is not unsuitable for you. To do that we ask about your requirements and objectives and your financial situation, and take reasonable steps to verify it.
A contract is unsuitable if it does not meet your requirements and objectives, or if you could not meet the repayments without substantial hardship. You can ask us for a copy of the preliminary assessment within seven years of the date of the contract. We will give it to you within 7 business days if you ask within two years, or within 21 business days after that, at no charge.
Fees you pay us
We do not charge you a fee for our credit assistance. We are paid by commission from the lender (see below).
Lenders charge their own fees, such as an establishment fee. They are set out in the lender’s contract, and in the figures we show you, before you agree to anything.
Commissions we receive
We may receive a commission from the lender or funder when your finance settles. It is usually a percentage of the amount financed, paid by the lender, and varies between lenders and products. The engine that compares your options never sees what we earn, and we disclose the amount in your quote.
Commissions we pay
We do not pay referral fees to anyone for introducing you to us.
