Every way to pay, on one table.
Most people check a novated lease with one provider, a car loan with a bank and business finance with a broker or accountant. Three places, three sets of questions, and three answers that don’t line up. The Navo Engine asks once, and works out all three on the same car, with the same assumptions.
- About 2 minutes
- No credit check to see your options
- No contact details needed
Three places, or one starting point.
- A salary packaging providerShows you a novated lease.
- A bank or lenderShows you a car loan.
- A broker or accountantShows you business finance.
Each one shows its own product, on its own assumptions. Putting them side by side is left to you.
- One set of answersYour car, your circumstances and what matters to you.
- Every structure that could fitLease, loan and business loan, across terms, balloons and your trade-in.
- Side by side, on the same basisWeekly cost, total cost and what’s owing at the end.
Then you choose. A specialist only gets involved if you want to go ahead.
Why we built it
How you pay matters as much as who lends
The structure decides the tax, the FBT, what happens if you change jobs and what you own at the end. That choice usually gets made before anyone compares lenders.
The rules keep moving
The FBT exemption for electric cars is under review from 1 April 2027, and the rules change for new employers from 1 April 2029. The engine checks the rules for the day your car is delivered.
The numbers should explain themselves
You see which option came first, the main reasons, and what would change the result. Every figure shows the assumptions behind it.
What we earn is never an input.
If you take out finance through us, we may be paid a fee and a commission. The engine that compares your options is built so it can’t see either.
- Kept out by designWhat we earn sits in a separate part of the system that the comparison can’t read. It is only used later, to show you what we are paid.
- Tested on every changeAn automated test changes what we would earn at random and checks that your options come out in exactly the same order. A change that fails it can’t ship.
- Same answers, same resultThe engine has no randomness and no hidden settings per customer. The same answers on the same day always give the same comparison.
- The engine does the mathsAn AI model writes the plain-English explanation, but every figure comes from the engine and is checked against it before you see it.
- Lenders in order of cost to youWhen we match you with a lender, they are ordered by what they cost you, never by what they pay us.
Less double handling, by design.
Finance usually means telling your story several times, and someone rebuilding the numbers each time. The engine does that work once.
- Answer onceThe same answers price a novated lease, a car loan and a business loan, so nobody has to ask you again.
- The numbers come firstWhen a specialist calls, your comparison is already worked out and on file. Their time goes on confirming your details, not starting from scratch.
- Rules in one placeTax rules, thresholds and rates are kept as dated data, checked and updated in one place, so every comparison uses the same rules.
- Why that matters to youA process with less double handling costs less to run. That is part of how Navo can set its pricing in advance.
What the engine does with your answers
Builds every option
Each structure that could fit, across terms, balloons or residuals, and what to do with your trade-in.
Costs each one
Repayments, running costs, tax and GST effects, FBT for your delivery date, and what’s owing at the end.
Checks your must-haves
Owning it at the end, keeping weekly costs down, staying flexible if your job changes.
Puts them in order
By your goals and the numbers, then shows the reasons, and what would change the result.
- It doesn’t make a credit decision or check your credit file. That only happens if you apply, and only with your consent.
- Its figures are indicative, from your answers and our assumptions. A specialist confirms the exact figures with you.
- It doesn’t give tax advice. Talk to your accountant about the structure that suits you.
